Why must I provide my email address?
Your email address will be used to submit and manage your local search request postings and will be used for communication with Ask Poodle concerning your search requests.  Responses to your postings will be anonymous and your real email address will not be shared with any business or third parties.  We take your privacy very seriously.

I just posted my local search request, what happens next?
We contact all the local businesses in your area that match your local search request needs and category selection and alert them of your posting using a pre-recorded voice phone message system.  Those matching businesses are then able to read and respond to your local search request posting online at Ask Poodle.

What are social postings?
Social postings are used to seek recommendations about attractions, restaurants, and local businesses from people in your community.  Please select the 'Social Posting' option if you do not have an immediate consumer need and do not wish to be contacted by local businesses and merchants.  Click on the Social Postings link to view and respond to recently submitted postings.

What are consumer postings?
Consumer postings are used to contact and alert local businesses and merchants of your local search request needs.  Please select the Consumer Posting option if you have an immediate consumer need and wish to be contacted by local businesses and merchants.

When do postings expire?
Consumer postings expire after 7 days.  Social postings are forum based and never expire.

How do I remove my business phone number from your matching sales leads promotional call list?
Click on the Do Not Call link and enter your information.

What is Local Phone Match™?
Local Phone Match™ is a method of matching local consumer search request postings with local business phone numbers.  Local businesses receive a pre-recorded voice phone message alert whenever there's a local consumer search request posting that matches there line of business.  Local businesses can then view and respond to their Local Phone Match™ postings by visiting Ask Poodle. 

What type of advertising programs are available?
We are currently in the process of building a self-service advertising system.  In the mean time, please use our Local Phone Match™  advertising method on a FREE trial basis.
